Hi! I'm Caitlin, also known as Tiptoe's Mom. Born and raised right here in Los Angeles, I'm now 27 years old and living life alongside my boy Tiptoe.

Let me tell you a story about a little girl who asked Santa for a pet tortoise at the sweet age of 7. That's right, yours truly! And Santa, being the hero he is, delivered beyond expectations, bringing me Tiptoe – a tortoise from the third-largest breed in the world. He came with no how-to guide, but we quickly got to learning!

Growing up with Tiptoe, I quickly learned he was no ordinary pet. He grew from a little hatchling into the tank of the 175 lb tortoise he is today. My mom and I spent months going to tortoise expos and reading all about Sulcatas until we felt "confident" -- we are still learning today.

In 2020 I posted a video about Tiptoe's daily plate of food. Little did I know, our videos would reach the hearts of so many, spreading joy + positivity. Since then, Tiptoe and I have been on an incredible ride, gathering a community of over 4.5 million followers on TikTok. It's been truly heartening to witness people of all ages and backgrounds connecting with our adventures.
